Hy-Tex are pleased to announce that they will launch Eco-Haven™ Sleeve early 2023.
Eco-Haven™ Sleeve is a new range of biodegradable, low cost tubular guards to protect young tree saplings, hedge whips and vines trunks against herbicide drift, wind, frost and grazing damage.
They offer the same high environmental credentials as the whole Eco-Haven™ range.
Eco-Haven™ Sleeves come on a roll with tear-off perforations for easy application for mass plantings. This product provides contractors with an economical way of providing protection for new hedges and vines.
Thry are easy to install and only requires one or two bamboo support stakes.
The innovative, tear-off tube design, provides the freedom to create any guard height to protect against browsing and bark stripping from a wide variety of animals such as voles, rabbits, deer and livestock.
Perforations are incorporated every 60cm for easy of tearing and the tubes can also be quickly cut to create any other sizes.
Initially they will be supplied as a 63mm diameter tube for vine and hedge protection, while 97mm and 145mm, diamter tubes for budget protection of trees and shrubs respectively, will be available by special order.
